It’s a fantastic tool that we're very proud of—you input your grades, and we show you every single program you're qualified to apply for. But we knew that was only solving part of the puzzle. Today, we're answering that question. We've built the next step in your application journey. We are thrilled to introduce the My UniPlan University Application Simulator.
How is This Different From Our Eligibility Checker?
This is a question we want to be very clear about. Think of it this way:
- Our Eligibility Checker shows you all the races you are allowed to enter based on your qualifications.
- Our new Application Simulator helps you predict how likely you are to win a medal in the specific races you choose to run.
The Eligibility Checker confirms you meet the minimum requirements. The Simulator, however, pits your grades against real, competitive university data to give you a feel for the actual admission process. It focuses on just four programs of your choice to give you a deep, personalized report on your chances of getting that coveted acceptance letter.
How Did We Make It Work?
We wanted to give you the most authentic experience possible. Here's how we've done it:
- Register on My UniPlan: This all happens within your existing My UniPlan account.
- Input Your Grades: You can use your final WASSCE results, predicted grades, or even mock exam scores.
- Pinpoint Your Dream Programs: This is where the magic happens. Instead of seeing a long list, you will choose up to four specific programs you want to seriously consider. This is about focus. [2]
- Run the Simulation: With a click, we run your profile against our dataset, which reflects the competitive nature of admissions in Ghanaian universities, and give you a detailed report on your chances.
